Founding members Van Alpert and Bernie Sirelson created Telescope in early 2004 as a consistent methodology for spontaneous composition after many years of occasional experiments and projects with electronic and computer music evolved into weekly sessions at Van’s house, improvising with keyboards, percussion, and effects. Telescope is a performance ensemble, dedicated to producing excellent experimental music (recorded simply for faithful, high-quality reproduction) and willing to integrate additional like-minded musicians and performers. |
